About Roxana P. Scaffidi

 

Born in Peru, Roxana came to the U.S. with a Business Administration Degree from San

Ignacio Del LoyolaUniversity and 10 years of experience in the field of Business Administration.

 

Beginning her time here in the United States, Roxana became an Office Manager of a Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Center. A short time later, she found a position as an Accountant for an Insurance Agent of AXA Casualty and Property Insurance. Roxana then gained experience as Comptroller of two manufacturing companies where she was able to apply her knowledge of costing, inventory, factoring, and budgeting.

 

With her variety of experience, she decided to open her own company, FL-Accounting, LLC.  Her certifications qualify her as a Certified Public Bookkeeper, a Bronze Partner in XERO, and a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. But Roxana does not simply perform day-to-day book keeping. She is dedicated to focusing on the broader picture of her client’s finances. She is qualified and knowledgeable enough to advise small and mid-sized company’s ways to improve their business to benefit their bottom line.

 

Roxana is a member of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Professional Woman. With her 20 years of experience Roxana has been requested to be a Bookkeeping Instructor at Palm Beach State College in the 2015 Spring Semester. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

About Andy Couriel

 

 

Andy is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida. A native South Floridian,

Andy brings more than 15 years tax preparation, of experience to FL-Accounting & Advisers.  Andy’s experience in publicaccounting began when he was an in-charge auditor of several municipalities and government entities in the SouthFlorida area, after spending several years in the private sector.

 

Over the years, Andy has branched out into other areas of public accounting including preparation of tax returns for small to mid-size business corporations, partnerships and sole proprietors; tax planning and preparation for individuals; payroll tax return preparation; attestation and assurance  services (audits, reviews and compilations); divorce litigation, forensic accounting; outsourced CFO/Controller services;  and expert Level QuickBooks consulting,  as well as a host of other areas of accounting and tax services.

 

In 2008, he started his own CPA firm with a focus on personal service and attention to each client's specific needs, and grew the firm to include dozens of individual and business clients who are very highly regarded in the South Florida business community. In 2014, he brought those clients and experiences to FL-Accounting & Advisers, bringing his many years of traditional accounting and tax experience to the firm.

 

Andy holds a Bachelors Degree in management with a specialization in statistics from the University of Florida, and furthered his accounting education at Florida Atlantic University.  He has also serves as a volunteer for Broward SCORE, mentoring new and existing business owners in and around Broward County.

 

 

 

 

 

About Cassandra Bergeron

 

 

She serves ad FL-Accounting & Advisers’ Executive Assistant. Graduating from Dreyfoos School of the Arts as

a Digital Media major, she has a broad marketing and design education. She is currently a student at Florida

Atlantic University, where she is working on a Business Finance Bachelor’s degree with a Minor in Accounting and

holds a spot on the School of Business’ Dean’s List. At FAU she also is a proud member of the Phi Mu Sorority since 2013.
